The work deals with the relationship between human beings and their work from a psychosociological perspective. It is divided into four parts and consists of twelve theoretically intertwined chapters, which are nevertheless open to independent readings. The chapters are written by Latin American professors and researchers. The debates cover essential issues for the practice of contemporary psychology considering the demands on the individual, job insecurity, violence, inclusion/exclusion, and atypical forms of work. It also revisits classic themes such as the relationship between mental health and work. All of these questions are present in this review to disseminate information about the work and encourage the reader to approach the topics covered, with the aim of instigating reading and applying these contents in practice.
